
Membership in the Election Technology Council (ETC) is open to any election technology provider who wishes to take advantage of the benefits that membership in the ETC provides.
COMMON GOALS AND VISION FOR THE INDUSTRY
The members of the Election Technology Council share a common vision supporting policies that help voters exercise their right to vote and have their votes accurately, recorded, verified and counted.
REPRESENTATION BEFORE LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY BODIES
As the voice of the industry, the Election Technology Council provides a critical service to speak on behalf of its members to regulatory authorities such as the United States Election Assistance Commission (EAC), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Technical Guidelines Development Committee (TGDC). The Election Technology Council also serves as the primary resource for the United States Congress for all matters affecting the industry as a whole as it considers potential legislation.
INFORMATION RESOURCES FOR THE PUBLIC AND THE INDUSTRY
As providers of innovative solutions for election administrators, the ETC is committed to providing information and research materials to partner associations such as the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), National Association of Counties (NACo), National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials, and Clerks (NACRC), International Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers (IACREOT), The Election Center and the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). The ETC also advances further research and study on the development and future innovation of election technology products through academia and the general public.
